The job list is the main screen. It opens right after you sign in and answers the daily question: what is being worked on, what is waiting for a part and what is ready for pick-up.
What a row shows
Number, branch, device, customer with their tag, dates, status in colour, technician, price and payment. An overdue due date shows in red. You choose the status colours yourself in the status reference data — so the state of the shop is visible without reading a word.
Quick filters
One button, one familiar question:
- All — everything there is;
- In progress — what the technicians are busy with;
- Ready for pick-up — customers to call;
- Urgent — what you promised to do quickly;
- Unpaid — handed over but not settled.
Detailed filters
When you need to be precise: status, technician, manager, repair type, partner, branch and intake dates. Filters combine.
The selection is written into the page address, so a link to a filtered list can be sent to a colleague or bookmarked — it opens exactly what you were looking at.
Advanced search
A separate section for when there is no job number: search by device, by customer, through the text of the work log and comments, over a period. That is how you find "the laptop that had its screen replaced some time in spring".
Branches and permissions
If you run several shops, by default an employee sees the jobs of their own branch. The right to see all branches is granted in the roles — usually to the owner and the bookkeeper.
