Customer notifications when a repair is ready
An email or SMS when the repair is ready, plus the customer’s own view of the status.
Half the calls to a repair shop are “so what is happening with my laptop?”. They eat the front desk's time, and the customer is still anxious.
Email or SMS
When a technician moves the job to “ready”, the customer gets a message: the device is done, here is the job number and the amount. You write the text of that message yourself.
Customers can look for themselves
Each customer can have a login and see their own jobs and their state. Companies that send in devices by the dozen appreciate this most.
Language of the messages
If your customers speak a different language than your staff, the documents and messages for them can use a separate language while your interface stays as it is. Handy for a workshop in Europe where the staff speak Ukrainian and the customers do not.
Next: reports and statistics.
